Head of Residential, CLARION HOUSING GROUP LIMITED

Location: Godalming - The Mill

Salary: £64,619.00 - £68,000.00 plus £5,000.00 car allowance per annum

Hours: 37.5 hours per week - flexible options considered

Contract Type: Fixed term contract / secondment until March 2027

We are looking for a Head of Residential to lead a team of Property Managers and Coordinators. This is a key role, responsible for delivering high‑quality services across our residential portfolio while driving performance, compliance, and value for money.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Property Managers and Coordinators.
• Deliver high‑quality residential property services and ensure excellent customer service.
• Oversee financial performance and drive cost‑effective outcomes.
• Handle repairs, insurance claims, and statutory obligations.
• Support business growth through tenders, budget setting, and mobilisation of new developments.
• Provide clear reporting, manage complex issues, and support business planning.
• Maintain a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
• Ensure efficient and commercially sound outcomes across all operations.
• Manage property mobilisation and systems knowledge.

Qualifications and Skills

• Relevant professional qualification such as IRPM or RICS.
• Strong leadership experience with strategic approach to management.
• Good systems knowledge relevant to residential property management.
• Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent customer service orientation.

Additional Requirements

• Full, valid UK driving licence required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory and visa sponsorship is not offered.
• Applicants must reside in England or Wales for the duration of employment.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will provide clear reporting, manage complex issues, and support business planning. Hybrid working with flexible arrangements is supported; attendance at the Eishing office is expected three to four times per month, and travel across the region may be required.
