Role Overview
Patient Pathway Coordinator to work within an established team to provide administrative support to the clinical team and improve patient pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact in communication with patient queries over the telephone and provide a full administrative service to the clinical team.
- Proactively prioritise workloads and accommodate changing demands within the team and service.
- Co‑ordinate the patient journey and, with booking staff, schedule patients in accordance with NHS Constitution principles and target waiting times, expediting pathways where necessary.
- Provide administrative support to consultant/clinical teams, managing clinicians’ diaries and timetables.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous NHS experience preferred.
- Proactive, flexible and able to prioritise workloads.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Experience working in a people‑facing environment and maintaining a high level of professionalism at all times.
Contract Details
12‑month fixed‑term contract, with actual duration adjusted to account for recruitment and pre‑employment checks.
