Teaching Assistants & Pastoral Support Staff Wanted – SEN School (Totton Area)

Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting full-time Teaching Assistants and Pastoral Support Team Members for a specialist SEN school in the Totton area, supporting children with a range of complex needs.

The RoleAs part of a committed and supportive team, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs
• Assist in delivering tailored learning and care plans
• Support students’ emotional wellbeing and behavioural development
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment

• A genuine passion for working with children, especially those with additional needs
• A caring, patient, and resilient nature
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to commit to a full-time role
• Availability for an ASAP start

Essential Requirements

• An Enhanced Child-Only DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
• Relevant experience is desirable but not essential—the right attitude matters most
