Science Teacher (KS3 & KS4 Specialist)

Location: Rochdale (Greater Manchester)

Salary: £180 - £240 per day (dependant on experience)

Contract: Full-Time, Temporary

Hours: 08:30 - 15:30, Monday to Friday

Start Date: ASAP - July 2026 (End of Academic Year)

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and resilient Science Teacher to join us immediately. This is a full-time position covering both KS3 and KS4 Science. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and drive results across all three disciplines (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver specialist Science lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Use data-informed strategies to support student progress and attainment.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management in line with school policy.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school and engage in departmental meetings.

Requirements (Essential)

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Mandatory.
• Subject Specialist: Proven ability to teach Science at KS3 and KS4 level.
• UK Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
• Compliance: A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Reliability: Commitment to a full-time schedule for the remainder of the academic year.
