The Teaching Personnel Norwich SEN team is seeking confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to work across a range of specialist settings. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs while developing their skills in education.

About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor in SEN settings, you'll play a key role in maintaining continuity of learning when teachers are absent - supporting students to stay engaged, focused, and supported throughout the school day.

In this role, you will:

• Supervise classes using pre-set work provided by teaching staff
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs, including SEMH, ASD, and learning difficulties
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and positive classroom environment
• Adapt your approach to meet the individual needs of students
• Work closely with teaching assistants and school staff to support behaviour and engagement
• Encourage confidence, independence, and participation in learning
