Nursery Practitioner Needed – Newcastle

We are currently recruiting a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery setting in Newcastle. This is a long-term opportunity starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

Location: NewcastlePosition: Nursery PractitionerHours: Full-time – typically 3 days 8:00–6:00 and 1 day either 8:00–5:30 or 8:30–6:00Start Date: ASAPPay: £520-600 Per weeek 

About the Role:

• Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0–5 years
• Support children’s learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of care
• Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Early Years (or equivalent)
• Paediatric First Aid certificate, or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting
• A caring, dependable, and enthusiastic attitude
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
