Secondary Teaching Assistant - SEMH

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Secondary Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in a specialist setting in central Bristol. This is a rewarding, hands-on role for someone passionate about supporting young people who require consistent, relational support to engage with education.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Morning sessions will involve outreach and enrichment activities with students.
- Afternoon support will be focused on 1:1 SEMH intervention.
- Supporting emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour.
- Working closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff.
- Helping students develop confidence, independence, and life skills.
This role is full-time and will run until the end of the academic year.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience supporting SEN/SEMH students.
- Secondary-aged experience preferred.
- Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
- Two professional references, covering the last 2 years.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
- Ability to start ASAP.
