econdary School Librarian (Short-Term Assignment)

We are seeking a reliable and organised Librarian to join a secondary school on a short-term basis.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting young people, promoting a love of reading, and maintaining an effective learning resource environment within a school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and maintaining the school library
• Supporting students with reading, research, and study skills
• Ensuring the library is a welcoming and well-organised space
• Assisting staff and students with library resources
• Promoting literacy and independent learning

Requirements:

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
• Previous experience working in a library or school environment (desirable)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with secondary-age students
