Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated, patient and resilient education professionals to provide flexible supply cover within a specialist Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) unit.

This highly specialised setting supports pupils where all learners have either an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) diagnosis or a formal statement of additional learning needs. Every day is different, and the role can be challenging — but it is also incredibly rewarding .

About the Role

You will be supporting pupils with a variety of needs, including:

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) Sensory processing differences Social communication difficulties Emotional regulation and behavioural needs Possible co-occurring SEMH needs

Pupils may require high levels of structure, routine, patience and emotional reassurance. Some days will test your resilience and adaptability — no two days are the same — but the progress you support, even in small steps, can be life-changing .

This role is ideal for individuals who are empathetic, calm under pressure, and passionate about inclusive education.

What We’re Looking For

We welcome applicants with relevant experience, including:

? Experience working with pupils with ASD, SEND or ALN Experience in SEN schools, specialist units or alternative provisions Backgrounds in education, care, youth work or support roles
