Secondary School Cover Supervisor – South Manchester

Role: Cover Supervisor

Pay: £95 – £110 per day (depending on experience)Location: Trafford and surrounding areas

Teaching Personnel is recruiting experienced Cover Supervisors to work across a wide range of secondary schools in Trafford, including Altrincham, Sale, Stretford, Urmston, Timperley, Trafford Park, and nearby locations.

This role is ideal for individuals with prior school-based experience who are confident supervising classes, managing behaviour, and maintaining a calm and positive learning environment.

About the Role – Cover Supervisor

As a Cover Supervisor, you will support schools during short-term staff absences on a day-to-day basis, ensuring continuity of learning and minimal disruption in the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering pre-planned lessons set by the class teacher
• Supervising whole classes across KS3 and KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Keeping students focused, engaged, and on task
• Providing support to pupils where required
• Gaining valuable experience across a variety of subjects and year groups
