About the Role - Psychology and Criminology Graduate Mental Health Assistant

This education and training role is ased in a specialist SEMH school, you'll support pupils with a range of needs including behavioural challenges, autism, and mental health difficulties.

You will:

• Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
• Support emotional regulation and wellbeing
• Apply therapeutic and behavioural strategies in the classroom
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and psychologists
• Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
• Encourage engagement through activities-sporting interests can be helpful but are not essential
