English Teacher - Secondary School (Wigan)

Veritas Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable English Teachers to work in secondary schools across Wigan. We have opportunities available for day-to-day cover, as well as short-term and long-term placements, to suit your availability and career goals.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
• Follow school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
• Adapt quickly to different school settings
• Mark work and provide feedback where required (role-dependent)

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools (ECTs welcome)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Flexible, reliable, and professional approach
