Key Stage 2 Teacher (KS2)

Location: Exeter area, Devon (partner school placement)Salary: Paid to scaleContract: Full-Time, Long-TermStart Date: September 2026

A Key Stage 2 Teacher is required for a full-time, long-term position within a partner primary school in the Exeter area, starting September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school environment with a strong focus on high-quality teaching, pupil progress, and curriculum development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging KS2 lessons and supporting pupils in their academic and personal development as they progress through upper primary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 2
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Prepare pupils for transition to secondary education
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
• Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs with relevant KS2 experience considered)
• Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
• A confident, creative, and proactive teaching approach
• Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
