Science Teacher – Fleet | September Start | Full Time

Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a well-established secondary school in Fleet to recruit a Teacher of Science for a full-time role starting in September.

The Role

As a Teacher of Science, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students of varying abilities to engage, progress and succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Teaching Science to mixed-ability groups at KS3 and KS4
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with clear, consistent school policies
• Maintaining a calm, purposeful and effective learning environment
• Monitoring progress and providing meaningful feedback
• Supporting pupils with special educational or additional needs (SEN)
• Working collaboratively with teaching and pastoral teams

The Ideal Candidate

We are keen to hear from Science teachers who can demonstrate:

• Experience working with secondary-aged students
• Confidence teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• SEN experience or the ability to support additional learning needs
• Strong communication skills and classroom presence
• Adaptability and a positive, proactive approach
• A genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people
