About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a successful academy seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner for Maths to join their team from September 2026.

This is a senior teaching and learning role for an individual who combines outstanding classroom practice with a strong commitment to developing others. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in strengthening Maths teaching across the academy by modelling excellence, coaching colleagues, and leading high-quality professional development rooted in evidence and impact.

This role is ideal for an experienced practitioner with deep subject expertise, high expectations, and a collaborative approach who believes passionately in the power of great teaching to transform outcomes.

The Role: Lead Practitioner – Maths

As Lead Practitioner for Maths, you will work closely with teaching staff and leaders to embed consistently high-quality pedagogy across the department and wider school.

You will support colleagues through coaching, mentoring, and professional learning, helping to shape a culture where strong teaching practice, reflection, and ambition drive pupil achievement in Maths.
