Cost Engineer / Senior Cost Engineer
Location: Bridgwater 2 days a week, rest remote (hybrid)
Industry: Energy/Nuclear Project
Rate: £450-500 a day inside IR35 (Depending on experience)

We are seeking a Senior Cost Engineer on behalf of our client, a leader in delivering complex and innovative projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile, large-scale Energy project in Teeside.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management Excellence: Lead cost planning, forecasting, and budgeting activities to ensure project delivery within financial constraints.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to deliver accurate and timely cost reporting.
- Change Management: Evaluate cost implications of design changes and variations, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize cost data and trends to provide actionable insights that drive project efficiency.
- Compliance & Reporting: Produce detailed cost reports for stakeholders.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven Experience: Significant experience as a Cost Engineer, ideally on large-scale Energy or Power projects.
- Technical Skills: Expertise in cost management tools and software
- Analytical Mindset: Strong numerical and analytical skills to evaluate complex data.
- Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate cost-related insights effectively.
