Graduate Underwriting Analyst – Manchester (Hybrid)

A fast-growing and highly ambitious insurer is looking to hire a Graduate Underwriting Analyst to join their expanding team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a high-calibre graduate looking to kickstart a career in insurance, with clear progression into underwriting and client-facing roles over time.

The Opportunity

You’ll sit close to the underwriting team, supporting decision-making and gaining exposure to a broad range of commercial risks.

The role offers a strong mix of:

• Analytical work – working with data to support underwriting decisions
• Commercial exposure – working alongside underwriters and brokers
• Project-based work across different areas of the business

You’ll gain experience across multiple lines of business and develop a well-rounded understanding of the insurance market from day one.

What They’re Looking For

• Strong academic background (e.g. Maths, Economics, Statistics, or similar)
• Analytical mindset with an interest in working with data
• Strong communication skills and confidence working with others
• Keen to build a long-term career within insurance
