Music Teacher – East London IG Area | Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Outer London) We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded secondary school in East London for a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students and contribute to a thriving performing arts department. The Role Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience desirable but not essential) Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity and musical expression Contribute to extracurricular activities such as choirs, bands, or school performances Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the wider school community The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and a passion for music education Ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities Excellent communication and organisational skills What’s on Offer Competitive salary in line with experience and pay scale Supportive leadership team and professional development opportunities Well-resourced music department Opportunity to make a real impact within a vibrant school community This position is based in the IG postcode area of East London, with good transport links and access to local amenities.
