The role

Sacco Mann is working in partnership, to help the group appoint into a newly created expansionist role, within the highly regarded and integral In-house Legal Team which is based in Cheshire. You will be responsible for an interesting and wide variety of legal work, reporting to the Head of Legal for one of the key divisions within the group.

Responsibilities

• The legal team truly works in strategic collaboration with the business, and the successful candidate can be expected to work in an advisory capacity across the division and wider group, on a range of legal issues and business projects.
• You’ll also take a lead in reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including customer terms and conditions, supplier contracts and reseller agreements.
• Such is the diversity of the caseload and the importance of the legal team, you’ll also co-ordinate with compliance and help with litigation and risk management.
• It’s a fantastic, rounded and highly commercial In-house position within a fast paced and pioneering organisation.

Qualifications

• It’s likely to suit an inquisitive lawyer who has at least 5 years PQE in commercial law, ideally with some previous In-house exposure would be helpful.
• Equally, knowledge of, or interest in technology would be extremely useful, given the sector they’re in.
• You’ll need to be commercially minded, pragmatic and very client facing with excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Location

The location is south Cheshire, in fantastic offices which are close by to key transport links. This is important as the role is office based and offers a set working week with zero expectations to work outside of your office hours.
