Legal Professionals – AI Training
We're looking for Legal Subject Matter Experts to join our Expert Network to help train and evaluate cutting‑edge AI models using professional legal insight. If you have a legal background, you'll complete a short 10‑ to 15‑minute test to assess your skills and suitability for AI tasks. Successful candidates will be invited to participate in Prolific's Legal Projects, where they get paid to train and evaluate powerful AI models.
Researchers pay up to $100 per hour, depending on skills and experience level. You must be prepared to complete paid tasks requiring one hour of uninterrupted work, though many are shorter.
What you'll bring
- Legal Background: a legal degree, professional qualification (JD, LLB, LLM), or relevant experience as a paralegal or legal analyst.
- Attention to Detail: the ability to review complex documentation and identify key nuances or inaccuracies.
- Critical Thinking: a “legal mind” capable of providing logical, fact‑based reasoning to support your answers.
- Reliability: the ability to work independently on ad‑hoc, remote assignments that fit around your existing commitments.
What you'll be doing in the role
- Document Evaluation: reviewing professional, regulatory, or B2B documents to verify information accuracy.
- AI Model Guidance: answering specific questions based on document content to help AI models understand technical or formal language.
- Fact‑Checking & Validation: ensuring that the outputs generated by AI systems align with professional standards and logical legal frameworks.
- Knowledge Sharing: providing expert feedback to help bridge the gap between human expertise and machine learning.
