Health Visiting Team Lead 0-19 - Band 7 - Wandsworth
We are seeking a full-time, highly motivated and innovative Health Visitor to join us as a team lead in the borough of Wandsworth. The role involves leading a health visiting team to improve the health and well‑being of diverse families within the 0‑19 integrated service, working closely with multidisciplinary partners.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and professional leadership and management of the health visiting team, ensuring delivery of a comprehensive and high‑quality needs‑led service.
- Plan, organise and evaluate an innovative public health service, delegating to team members to ensure high‑quality delivery.
- Provide a skilled, effective and evidence‑based public health service to clients in a variety of community settings.
- Work in collaboration with other health care and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of services for clients and communities.
- Collaborate with team colleagues to deliver the Quality Strategy objectives.
- Develop leadership and management skills in others; support teams to be involved in planning, implementing and evaluating services.
- Promote effective teamwork within the wider multi‑agency team and with other health care and service providers.
- Monitor quality‑of‑service provision, review key performance indicator reports, identify areas for service and professional development, and facilitate implementation.
