The work
- Set technical direction across critical product surfaces
- Lead architecture for systems that need to scale 10x within 12 to 18 months
- Mentor senior and mid-level engineers, raise the bar across the team
- Partner directly with founders, CTOs, and product leadership
What you bring
- Strong track record at Staff or Principal level, ideally at multiple high-growth companies
- Deep technical breadth: backend, frontend, infra, or systems
- History of leading non-trivial architectural decisions and seeing them through
- Strong written communication and a bias to ownership over abstract leadership
