The Commercial & Investment Bank provides strategic advice, raises capital, manages risk and extends liquidity in markets around the world.

The Infrastructure Finance and Advisory group has a global mandate to lend and/or advise clients on financing infrastructure projects and infrastructure companies and work with coverage, product and sales teams to develop and execute solutions across all verticals including digital, transportation, energy, utilities and social infrastructure. The group’s London-based team is primarily focused on Europe, Middle East and Africa. It is comprised of experts in project finance, bonds, loans, structured products and derivatives.

Team members have backgrounds in project finance, leverage finance, structured finance, ratings and derivatives, and we invariably work with colleagues in M&A advisory, debt capital markets, derivatives structuring and other coverage and product groups. By leveraging expertise across products, sectors and markets, the Infrastructure Finance and Advisory team integrates and customizes offerings and solutions to help our clients meet their strategic, financial and risk management objectives.

You will be involved in acquisition finance, greenfield and brownfield finance, restructuring and recapitalisations, hedging, ratings advisory and capital structure advisory as part of M&A deal teams. By leveraging expertise across products, sectors and markets, you will integrate and customize offerings and solutions to help our clients meet their strategic, financial and risk management objectives.

Responsibilities Qualifications This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities. The ideal candidate is a team player with superior analytical skills. It is critical for the individual to have strong presentation and client marketing skills and a creative and commercial approach to identifying new business opportunities. It is also important that this person displays maturity, good judgment and an ability to work with professionals at all levels inside J.P. Morgan. Strong problem solving and project management skills are a must.

It is expected that the candidate demonstrate leadership qualities that are team‑oriented, fostering and collegial. The ability to delegate effectively and pay attention to detail while maintaining a high level of productivity will be important.
