Hours: Flexible around business needs across Monday - Friday. Start times range from 10am-4pm
Pay Rates:
(PAYE 6AM onwards):Monday to Friday £16.21, Saturday £17.87 & Sunday £18.20
(PAYE 2PM onwards):Monday to Friday £16.87, Saturday £18.29, Sunday £18.61
(PAYE 10PM onwards):Monday to Friday £17.59, Saturday £20.69 & Sunday £21.96 PAYE

Location: Barnsley, S74.
Job Type : Ongoing.

The role:
Trunking caged goods between depots, ensuring timely and safe delivery of parcels. Maximum 5 stops a shift.
Reversing in the yard and manoeuvring vehicles with precision.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle, ensuring roadworthiness and compliance with company standards.
Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to maintain a high level of safety on the road.
Effectively communicate with dispatch and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.

Requirements:
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C+E).
Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
3 months experience needed.
No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
Successful completion of assessment, including theory element which is two questionnaires based on drivers' hours and road laws and a practical element which will be based on yard reversing and a short driving test.
Full understanding of WTD legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
A safety-first mindset.
