Teaching Assistant – Fresh Start September 2026

Location: Rhondda Cynon Taf Start Date: September 2026Contract: Full-time and Part-time roles available 

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant who is looking for a fresh start this September and is passionate about supporting children to succeed in their learning and development.

This role is ideal for a committed individual who already has experience working with children and is confident supporting learning in a classroom or specialist setting.

Essential Requirements

Applicants must:

• Hold a current DBS registered on the Update Service
• Be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
• Have previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting
• Be reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to safeguarding and inclusion

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning, both in groups and one-to-one
• Assist the class teacher with classroom activities and behaviour management
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Support pupils with additional learning or pastoral needs where required
