The Opportunity
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join its friendly and supportive Private Client team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills to support fee earners across a broad range of private client matters including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing full secretarial and administrative support to Private Client fee earners
- Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
- Preparing and amending Wills, LPAs, Probate documents, and client letters
- Managing diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements
- Opening and closing files and maintaining accurate client records
- Liaising with clients, courts, financial institutions, and third parties professionally and sensitively
- Handling telephone and email enquiries efficiently
- Assisting with billing, file management, and compliance procedures
- Ensuring confidentiality and excellent client care at all times
About You
- Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client
- Strong audio typing and administrative skills
- Excellent communication and client care abilities
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage workloads and prioritise effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
- Professional, personable, and able to work well within a team
