Experience for this Mental Health Solicitor role:
- Minimum of 3 years solid experience in Mental Health and have attained their Mental Health Scheme Accreditation
- Strong advocacy experience
- Representing clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983
- Representing clients in managers’ hearings and renewal meetings in Primary Care Trusts
- Undertaking own advocacy at Tribunals and County Courts
- Making applications in respect of relative displacement
Advising clients on consent issues - Bringing Judicial Review proceedings
- Analysing and evaluating psychiatric reports and social circumstances reports
- Court of Protection applications
- Community treatment orders
Qualifications for this Mental Health Solicitor vacancy:- Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales with a minimum of 3 years experience in Mental Health
