Grõ Careers has been exclusively retained on a Project Manager opportunity with a highly respected, multiple award-winning and design-led multidisciplinary firm in Central London.
This is a rare move for someone who wants to step into a more progressive project / design management environment, supporting major live schemes while developing further in commercial management, contract administration, change control, and structured delivery.
The Opportunity
You’ll join an established management function working across complex projects where successful delivery depends on strong coordination, clear reporting, sound commercial awareness, and robust project controls.
This is a position for someone who enjoys creating structure around project delivery - coordinating teams, tracking progress, managing change, supporting programmes, and helping multidisciplinary project teams work in a clear, organised, and commercially disciplined way.
You’ll work closely with senior colleagues and design teams in a visible, client-facing environment, with genuine scope to progress quickly.
What you’ll do
- Support project delivery across multiple workstreams and live schemes
- Coordinate internal teams, external consultants, and wider project stakeholders
- Help create and manage project programmes, deliverables, actions, and reporting
- Support commercial processes, including fee tracking, forecasting, invoicing support, and broader project controls
- Help manage scope, change, and contractual issues across live projects
- Monitor project risks, issues, and delivery dependencies
- Attend and lead project meetings, workshops, and coordination sessions
- Maintain clear records around project change, RFIs, comments, and key decisions
- Support resource planning, team alignment, and project set-up activities
- Work closely with senior project leaders to help maintain momentum, accountability, and delivery quality

You’ll be a strong fit if…
- You are currently working as a Project Manager, Design Manager, Assistant Design Manager, Project Coordinator, Technical PM, or similar within a complex project environment
- You have experience supporting or managing coordination across multiple disciplines and stakeholders
- You are comfortable with reporting, trackers, project controls, and delivery management processes
- You understand the impact of change, scope, programme pressure, and commercial implications across a project
- You have experience supporting budgets, forecasting, fee-related processes, variations, or project reporting
- You have worked in NEC contract environments and understand the principles of structured change control, compensation events, programme implications, and contractual discipline
- You enjoy creating structure, improving workflows, and helping teams perform at their best
- You are organised, proactive, and comfortable working in fast-moving environments
Particularly relevant backgrounds
We are especially keen to hear from people with experience in:
- major multidisciplinary projects
- healthcare, infrastructure, workplace, science & technology, public sector, mixed-use, or similarly complex environments
- project management, design management, contractor-side, consultancy, engineering, or design-led delivery roles
- NEC contract environments
