This role will play a key part in supporting the firm’s wider risk and regulatory framework, managing claims and complaints matters while working alongside senior Risk & Compliance leaders, fee earners, insurers and external advisers. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure across professional indemnity, complaints handling, regulatory liaison and wider risk management initiatives within a sophisticated legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing and managing potential claims, complaints and risk-related matters
• Liaising with internal stakeholders, insurers, external legal advisers and recovery partners
• Drafting summaries, correspondence and responses relating to claims and complaints issues
• Maintaining accurate records and monitoring live matters to ensure regulatory deadlines are met
• Assisting with responses involving the Legal Ombudsman, SRA and other regulatory bodies
• Supporting management reporting, training initiatives and ongoing risk projects
• Assisting with professional indemnity insurance renewals and exposure reporting
• Supporting DSAR-related matters where required
