Job Summary

Applications are invited for a full‑time consultant musculoskeletal radiologist appointment at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Provide the highest level of patient care in musculoskeletal imaging, including diagnostic and interventional musculoskeletal radiology. Actively engage in research, presentations and publications. Maintain clinical standards and undertake any reasonable clinical responsibilities.

Manage departmental responsibilities including attendance at MDT and monthly meetings. Participate in the weekly bone and soft‑tissue sarcoma MDT, cover weekly general and local anaesthetic biopsy lists for bone and soft‑tissue lesions, and perform complex spinal interventions (biopsies, facet/nerve root injections).

Lead and participate in various MDTs – weekly CRMO paediatric MDT, Myeloma MDT, scoliosis‑spine deformity MDT. Perform fluoroscopic guided joint injections, synovial biopsies, ultrasound‑guided injections, and diagnostic ultrasound evaluation of soft‑tissue lesions. Experience in MSK SPECT‑CT radiology reporting, baby hip ultrasound, and cryoablation is welcomed.
