Locum Consultant – Ear, Nose & Throat (Head & Neck Surgery)

We are seeking an Independent ENT Consultant for the Head and Neck Cancer team at Calderdale and Huddersfield Foundation NHS Trust. The role involves general ENT surgery with a focus on head and neck, management of benign disease and two‑week wait fast track referrals, and collaboration with tertiary partners.

Responsibilities and Job Plan

• Head and Neck clinics (including Fast Track)
• General anaesthetic theatre working
• Clinical triage, advice and guidance
• Patient administration
• SPA (1.5 PA, of which 0.5 PA flexible)
• MDT presentation
• Service development
• Audit and research opportunities
• Monthly clinical governance

The Trust will allocate 1.5 SPAs to support professional activities, including CPD, appraisal, clinical supervision, audit, clinical governance, mandatory training and general service management.

Applicants must be independent in general ENT surgery with experience in head and neck procedures and fast‑track referrals. Candidates should be able to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and present within MDTs.
