An exciting opportunity to be part of the microbiology team to improve antimicrobial stewardship.
Responsibilities
- Participation in microbiology ward rounds and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Review anti-infective prescribing and make recommendations based on local policies and best practice.
- Review expenditure on anti-infectives and implement measures to control costs.
- Audit current practice and develop and monitor key performance indicators within the anti-infective area.
- Develop and review anti-infective guidelines.
