With your experience in either logistics, supply chain management, transfusion science, or pharmaceuticals, youre going to have a key role in helping us save lives.Our Regional Manufacturing Manager will depend on your support to deliver a valuable service, from planning and implementation of policy through to meeting business objectives and implementing service developments. Youll help meet a range of performance requirements including quality and productivity targets and reduction of waste and take specific responsibility for an assigned area.Essentially, youll prioritise, organise and manage the work and staff of the Manufacturing department. That will include making sure that the teams output meets patient and product safety standards by working to internal and external quality requirements and operating within the boundaries of Good Manufacturing Practice.The working pattern will be covering the late shift, working Wednesday - Sunday 1500 - 2300, 1600 - 0000, 1700 - 0100 etc. These hours are up for discussion and a degree of flexibility will be expected. Part time working will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Main duties of the job

In this role you will be required to Support the Regional Manufacturing Manager in the delivery of the service including planning, implementation of policy, business objectives and service developments.

You will be required to provide cover in times of operational difficulty, with reasonable notice. You will be required to participate in an out of hours rota which may include evening, weekend or public holiday working
