Data Privacy Lawyer

Overview

We are instructed by a global law firm that is seeking to recruit a mid-senior level data privacy lawyer on a fixed term contract to cover the maternity leave of an associate. This role will commence in June and will be offered on a fixed term contract basis for six to 12 months and on a three days per week basis.

Responsibilities

• Advise a diverse client base—from innovative startups to established, global organisations—on complex data protection matters.
• Provide guidance on UK GDPR, regulatory compliance, and digital risk for clients across varied sectors including technology, media, and luxury goods.
• Support clients in navigating evolving data protection requirements and related privacy issues.

Qualifications

• Five years’ plus PQE (candidates with a strong private practice background preferred).
• In-house lawyers are welcome to apply.
