About The Role
As HR Support Administrator, you will be joining a friendly and supportive HR Support function and will play a key role in delivering efficient, accurate, and responsive HR support across the employee lifecycle. This role is central to ensuring smooth day‑to‑day HR operations while supporting managers and employees with a positive, timely, high‑quality service.
This role will be based in our Ipswich head office, on a hybrid basis (3 days in the office).
Key Responsibilities
- Validate Right to Work documentation for all new starters in line with UK Home Office requirements.
- Support the onboarding process, ensuring all documentation and systems are accurately updated.
- Triage and respond to HR queries via Zendesk ticketing system and phone calls.
- Escalate complex queries to relevant HR colleagues while maintaining ownership of resolution tracking. Prepare and issue employment references and confirmation of employment letters.
- Process contract variations and changes to personal details.
- Coordinate leaver correspondence and ensure accurate offboarding documentation.
- Administer maternity, paternity, and other family leave processes.
- Track and update absence records and probationary reviews.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an HR administrative or support role.
- Some understanding of UK Right to Work legislation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Zendesk or similar helpdesk platforms desirable.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
