School Caretaker - Stockport (Immediate Start)

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced and reliable School Caretaker to join a welcoming school in the Stockport area. This is a part-time position with split shift hours, starting immediately.

The Role:As a School Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school site. The position requires flexibility, as the hours will be split between morning and afternoon/evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Opening and securing the school premises
• Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensuring the school grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained
• Monitoring site security and health & safety compliance
• Liaising with contractors and school staff when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor/Caretaker within a school setting is essential
• Strong understanding of health and xwzovoh safety procedures
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• A proactive and hands-on approach
