Business Development Manager

We’re excited to be working with a leading law firm hiring a newly created BD Manager into the technology (TMT) team covering platforms; social media, marketplaces, SaaS and the wider digital economy.

There’s already a strong client base. The focus here is on building momentum — spotting where the growth is, shaping the messaging and helping the practice land it.

It’s a good mix of strategy and delivery, in a space that’s moving quickly.

What you’ll be doing:

• Owning BD for the platforms practice
• Growing existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities
• Using pipeline and financial data to guide where to focus
• Leading campaigns, thought leadership and profile-raising
• Driving pitches and proposals
• Planning client events and initiatives that cut through
• Working with colleagues across Europe on cross-border work

What they’re looking for:

• BD or marketing experience in professional services
• Interest in tech, digital or platform-led businesses
• Commercially minded – comfortable using data to back decisions
• Confident dealing with partners and senior stakeholders
