My client, a leading company based in Thame, Oxfordshire, is looking for a motivated Transport Operations Administrator to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a modern, professional operation supporting vehicle recovery and logistics.
What you’ll be doing:
- Coordinating driver movements for vehicle collections and deliveries, ensuring smooth operations.
- Assisting with driver/vehicle scheduling to optimise full load capacity and geographic routes.
- Planning schedules in compliance with EU driving regulations regarding breaks and rest periods.
- Communicating effectively with recovery drivers throughout the day to resolve any issues.
- Ensuring all contractual service obligations are met.
- Supporting colleagues with various operational tasks as needed.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in a busy transport or logistics environment.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A positive, team‑oriented attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Basic knowledge of motor vehicles and familiarity with the salvage industry is advantageous.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced setting and handle multiple priorities.
Details:
- Position: Permanent, full‑time
- Working days: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm (4:45pm on Fridays)
- Salary: £28,000 - £30,000
- Benefits include ongoing training, onsite parking, uniform & PPE, discounted petrol, holiday entitlement which increases and a pension plan with 3% employer contribution.
