This is a remote contract role for a Cyber Security Specialist. The specialist will be responsible for securing applications, networks, and information systems against cyber threats. Key tasks include designing and implementing security measures, identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and responding to security incidents. Additional responsibilities may include conducting security assessments, staying updated on evolving cyber threats, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust protection across all systems.

• Expertise in Application Security and implementing secure coding practices.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Cybersecurity and Network Security principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Information Security best practices and frameworks.
• Experience in identifying and mitigating cyber threats across diverse systems and platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
