About the Company
As one of the inaugural core members for the UK market, you will be directly responsible for serving our most elite VIP clients. Your mission extends beyond merely ensuring the smooth deployment of automated equipment; through exceptional project management, you must significantly optimize the industry-standard acceptance cycle—reducing it to under two months—thereby establishing the company’s benchmark for delivery excellence within the UK market.
Responsibilities
VIP Client Delivery & Acceptance Leadership
- Full Lifecycle Management: Lead the entire process from the equipment's arrival at UK ports, through on-site installation and system commissioning, to final formal handover and acceptance.
- Delivery Cycle Optimization: Play a deep, active role in preliminary site surveys; coordinate client-side IT, civil engineering, and electrical resources to ensure that site conditions are fully prepared for installation immediately upon equipment arrival.
- High-Level Relationship Management: Act as the bridge between technical and commercial functions; manage VIP client expectations, expertly handle on-site Change Requests, and ensure successful Proof-of-Concept (PoC) conversions leading to continued expansion orders.
Industrial Safety & HSE Compliance Benchmarking
- Safety Procedure Implementation: Responsible for establishing and overseeing the execution of on-site LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) procedures, ensuring all maintenance operations strictly adhere to UK PUWER regulations.
- Compliance Documentation: Author and submit RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) that meet UK industry benchmarks; act as the company's liaison with the client's Safety Committee.
Cross-Border Operations & Logistics Coordination
- Supply Chain Integration: Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager at our German headquarters to track the status of cross-border equipment customs clearance and manage local spare parts inventory within the UK.
- Subcontractor Management: Select, train, and manage local UK subcontractors for installation and after-sales services, ensuring the quality of their work consistently meets company standards.
Qualifications
- Must Mandarin & English Speaker
- Professional Experience: 5+ years of on-site management experience in automated warehousing (AS/RS), robotic systems, or large-scale logistics integration projects.
- UK Certifications: Hold a valid CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme); candidates possessing IOSH or NEBOSH safety certifications will be given priority (or must obtain such certification within one month of joining).
- Language Proficiency: Excellent business-level English communication skills; the ability to communicate in Chinese to liaise with the Group's R&D team will be considered a significant advantage.
- Mobility: Holds a UK driving license and is able to accommodate frequent on-site travel.
