Warehouse General Manager

RS Global Search Partners are exclusively partnering with a Global Freight Forwarding & Contract Logistics business on a new urgent assignment.

We are currently seeking a commercially experienced Warehouse General Manager to oversee the businesses contract logistics offering for the UK alongside managing clients directly who are on-site with any specific issues or requests on a fixed term contract for a minimum of 12 months that could lead to a permanent role.

Location: Essex, UK

Hybrid: 3x per week on site

Length: 12 months to Permanent

Warehouse Size: 65,000 Sqft

Key Responsibilities:

• Key Account Management of established accounts being the first point of contact
• Development of Key Accounts within the Warehouse
• Day to Day management of the Warehouse and Staff
• Drive Performance against key metrics
• Leading and developing with Warehouse Team

Experience:

• Strong Commercial and Operational experience within a 3PL environment
• Previous experience in managing external stakeholders within a 3PL
