Planning Lawyer - 6-12 Month Fixed Term Contract - London

We are currently partnering with a prestigious international firm seeking a high-calibre Planning Associate for a 6-month fixed-term contract within their market-leading London Real Estate group.

This is a rare opportunity to join an integrated team working on some of the UK’s most innovative mandates, ranging from offshore wind and infrastructure projects to urban regeneration and life sciences. The successful candidate will take a lead role in negotiating complex s106 and infrastructure agreements, providing strategic advice on CIL and heritage constraints, and delivering essential planning support for high-value real estate transactions.

The ideal solicitor will possess at least 3 years’ PQE with a proven track record in handling multi-use developments and public inquiries. Technical proficiency in highways law and CPO principles is essential, while experience with Development Consent Orders would be highly advantageous. Beyond technical drafting, you will be expected to supervise junior colleagues and maintain strong client relationships through seminars and sector-specific contributions.
