Are you a passionate and engaging Spanish Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity in a high-performing school? We are looking for a full-time Spanish Teacher to join an Outstanding school in Ipswich, starting ASAP. About the Role
As a Spanish Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Spanish across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A-Level.
Planning and delivering differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
Monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback, and setting targets.
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
Leading or supporting co-curricular activities such as language clubs, competitions, and cultural events.
Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and support school-wide initiatives.
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related discipline.
PGCE or QTS qualification.
Experience teaching Spanish at secondary level, including GCSE and A-Level.
Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and effective communication.
Passion for promoting language learning and cultural understanding.
