2 roles at 12 hours or 1 role at 24 hours - predominantly weekend work

Purpose of the role

To assist the Team Leader in the provision of professional and high quality support to those individuals with physical and learning disabilities, promoting recovery through a strengths based, person centred approach. This enables the people we support to ensure they live independent lives achieving their full potential in all aspects of their personal lives.

Person Specification

Selection Criteria

Education and Professional Qualifications

Essential

Level 2 Essential Skills in Maths and English or GCSE Grade C or above in Maths and English or demonstrable equivalent.

Desirable

QCF Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care, or demonstrable equivalent.

Previous Experience

Essential

Minimum of three months experience supporting individuals with physical or learning disabilities, (paid or unpaid), or six months experience of providing support in a care environment.

Interpersonal Skills

Additional Requirements

Essential

Possess a current and valid driving licence or have access to a form of transport that will permit the candidate to meet the requirements of the post in full.

Guidance
