As part of our expansion, we are looking for an exceptional Business Development Manager who understands how to build commercial relationships, generate revenue, and operate confidently at senior decision-maker level.
This is not an entry-level sales role. We are looking for someone commercially sharp, highly driven, and already experienced in winning business and managing high-value relationships.
The Role
You will play a key role in driving the next stage of growth for Imready.uk by identifying opportunities, opening doors, and converting conversations into long-term commercial partnerships.
You will be expected to operate independently, think strategically, and consistently deliver results.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across multiple sectors
- Generate high-quality leads and convert them into long-term clients
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities
- Consistently achieve and exceed ambitious revenue targets
Relationship Management
- Develop strong relationships with business owners, directors, and senior stakeholders
- Represent Imready.uk professionally at meetings, networking events, and industry functions
- Become a trusted commercial partner for clients
Commercial Strategy
- Understand client operational needs and propose tailored recruitment and business support solutions
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals confidently
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful client delivery
Brand Representation
- Position Imready.uk as a premium and reliable business partner
- Contribute to the growth and reputation of the company within the UK market
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in Business Development, B2B Sales, Partnerships, or Recruitment Sales
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation ability
- Existing portfolio of business contacts and relationships
- Demonstrated ability to generate and close new business independently
- Confident communicator with experience dealing with senior decision-makers
- Highly ambitious, target-driven, and performance-focused mindset
- Strong understanding of relationship-based sales
Preferred
- Recruitment industry experience
- Experience managing high-value accounts
- Background in fast-paced growth environments
