Accountant

First Choice are currently recruiting for a financial accountant to work within the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, this role will be based at Lurgan Hospital. This role is required initially for six months, with the possibility of extension. The working hours will be Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm and will be paid at a rate of £24.45 per hour.

The successful candidate must have a recognised CCAB Accountancy qualification and hold a full UK drivers license.

The main duties of this role will be:

• Support the Senior Financial Accountant in the administration, maintenance, and development of financial systems.
• Participate in the assessment and development of financial systems so that financial accounting information is accurate.
• Ensure reconciliation and review of all control account balances has been completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Support the Senior Financial Accountant in forecasting and accounting for provisions, including liaising with legal advisors.

What we need from you;

• 2 years post qualification experience in a role involving the preparation of statutory financial accounts.
• Minimum of 1 years experience in staff management.
• Experience in the use of Microsoft office and accounts packages.
