Packing Operative

McMullen Facades Ltd are currently recruiting for Packing Operatives for our Portadown site.

The Packing Operator is responsible for securely and efficiently packing finished products for storage or dispatch. The role involves handling, inspecting, labelling, and wrapping products while maintaining high levels of quality and safety on the factory floor.

Your role

You will be part of an exceptional team that is responsible for;

Packing products according to packing specifications, work orders, or instructions.

Inspect products for quality before packing, reporting any defects or inconsistencies.

Label, wrap, and secure items for safe transport and storage.

Prepare and maintain packing materials and keep work area clean and organised.

Complete necessary paperwork or digital records for packed items.

Assist with loading packed items onto pallets or into transport containers.

Comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations and procedures.

Collaborate with production, dispatch, and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Key Skills

• Previous experience in a packing, dispatch, or warehouse role.

  Good attention to detail and quality awareness.

  Basic understanding of packing standards and manual handling.

  Ability to work to targets in a fast-paced environment.

  Knowledge of health and safety in a factory/warehouse setting.

  Team player with good communication skills.

  Valid Counterbalance/Forklift license certificate
