We’re working with a fantastic secondary school in South Leeds looking for a Maths Teacher who can bring energy, confidence, and a little spark to the classroom. Someone who can make fractions feel less frightening and equations actually make sense

This is a full-time role starting in September, with no fixed end date. Ideal if you’re looking for stability, a supportive team, and a school where staff are genuinely looked after.

And before you ask, yes… behaviour is good, the department’s organised, and the coffee situation in the staffroom is solid ☕

The Role

You’ll be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4, helping students build confidence, resilience, and maybe even enjoy a bit of problem-solving along the way.

You’ll be:

• ➕ Delivering engaging Maths lessons across secondary year groups
• Supporting students of mixed abilities to reach their potential
• Making lessons interactive, clear, and confidence-boosting
• Working with a collaborative and experienced department
• Creating a classroom culture where students feel supported to succeed

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

• Hold UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
• Have experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
• Can explain tricky concepts without making students’ eyes glaze over
• Bring positivity, structure, and strong classroom presence
• Want to be part of a school that values good teaching and good people

ECTs are very welcome too. Your first role should feel exciting, not like solving simultaneous equations without a calculator.
