We are excited to be working with an Outstanding secondary school in Manchester to recruit a high-calibre Science Technician. This full-time, permanent position is available for an immediate start and offers a fantastic opportunity to support a high-performing Science department. We are looking for a proactive individual who can provide meticulous technical support, ensuring laboratories remain safe, organized, and ready for consistently outstanding quality practical lessons.

Responsibilities
Prepare equipment and chemical solutions for KS3 and KS4 practical science lessons
Support the department in upholding the highest standards of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations
Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, ensuring all resources are in top working order
Assist students and staff during practical sessions with technical expertise
Manage stock control and the procurement of laboratory consumables
Qualifications and Experience
Degree or background in Science (Chemistry, Biology, or Physics)
Previous experience as a technician or in a laboratory environment
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to laboratory safety
Must have the right to work in the UK
