We are working with a well-regarded London law firm that is looking to hire a Construction Disputes Solicitor / Associate at around 2–4 PQE.
This is a permanent opportunity within a growing construction disputes practice, sitting as part of a wider real estate-focused offering. The team advises a broad client base across contentious construction matters, including adjudication, litigation, ADR and arbitration.
The successful candidate can expect to work on a varied mix of disputes involving developers, contractors, building owners, asset managers and other parties across the construction sector. The role will include drafting dispute documentation, assisting with adjudications and court proceedings, liaising with clients, experts and counsel, and helping to drive matters forward commercially.
This would suit a construction lawyer who enjoys contentious work and wants to build a career in disputes within a supportive but busy City environment. The firm is open to candidates with established contentious construction experience, and may also consider someone with wider construction advisory experience who is keen to specialise further in disputes.
You will ideally have experience from a recognised construction practice, strong drafting and analytical skills, and a clear understanding of the commercial realities behind construction disputes.
This is a good opportunity for someone who wants quality work, direct client exposure and the chance to take on responsibility within a growing team.
